Christus resurgens by Robert Johnson — Lyrics
Alleluia.

About Christus resurgens
Sing this during Eastertide, celebrating Christ’s resurrection. Robert Johnson sets a powerful Latin text for two-part male voices (TB). The music reflects the triumphant message of the antiphon: Christ rises from the dead, no longer to die, death having no dominion over him. The text moves from the affirmation of Christ’s victory over death to a challenge to the Jews to explain how the guards at the tomb lost the King. It concludes by urging all to adore the risen Christ, echoing the Alleluia.
