About Gaudent in coelis
Gaudent in coelis paints a glorious scene of the saints rejoicing in heaven. The text, taken from the Introit for All Saints' Day, describes those who have followed Christ's footsteps and shed their blood for his love, and now exult with him eternally. Ottavio Vernizzi sets this jubilant Latin text for double choir (SATB.ATTB), creating a rich and sonorous effect.
