Duo seraphim

Giovanni Croce was a prominent composer of the late Renaissance Venetian school. His motet Duo seraphim sets a Latin text drawn from Isaiah and the Gospel of John, exploring the divine nature through the seraphim's cry and the testimony of the Trinity. The music is written for two distinct choirs, SATB and SSATB, creating a rich, antiphonal texture.
