Full Lyrics
VERSE 1
I gaze upon you Jesus, my soul is filled with hope;
I come to thee O Jesus, my Saviour and my friend;
Thy invitation Jesus gives grace and peace and Joy.
CHORUS
My love for you O Jesus, is wider than the Sea;
My love for you O Jesus, is purer than the Springs;
My love for you O Jesus, is higher than the clouds.
VERSE 2
I long for you O Jesus
the dark and dreary night
Approaches O my Jesus
but this is nought with thee
I feel your presence Jesus
Bestowing strength to me.
VERSE 3
I thirst for you O Jesus
I want to drink of thee
the thirst I feel is heavy
and so I come to thee
Thy streams of water open
to fill me to the brim.
