Holy! Holy!! Holy !!!

Abraham Uke’s "Holy! Holy!! Holy !!!" is a vibrant and majestic setting of the Sanctus, the great acclamation sung as the church enters the Eucharistic Prayer. Marked *appassionata vivace* on the score, the piece carries a lively, passionate energy that lifts the spirit of the congregation, inviting them to join the heavenly chorus in praise.

The arrangement builds beautifully, starting with repeated, reverent declarations of God's holiness before opening up into a bright, joyful "Hosanna in the highest." When the choir reaches the Benedictus—"Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord"—the music flows with a deep sense of adoration, preparing the altar for the solemn moment of consecration. It is a wonderful choice for festive Masses where the choir wants to bring a sense of grand celebration to the liturgy.
