About Herr, wer wird wohnen
Arnold von Bruck sets the opening words of Psalm 15, a lyrical exploration of the qualities required to dwell in God's presence. The text, presented in a mixture of Latin and German, poses a question: 'Lord, who will abide in your tabernacle?' and then answers it by listing the virtues of the righteous – honesty, integrity, and compassion. This sacred motet for STTB voices unfolds the answer with musical sincerity.
