About Exultate Deo
The composer Hakenberger sets a jubilant Latin text from Psalm 81, calling the faithful to sing praises to God, their helper. The text urges a joyous celebration with psaltery, harp, and trumpet on a solemn feast day, recounting God's deliverance of Israel from Egypt.
