Diligam te Domine

The words of this motet express a profound devotion and trust in God as a protector and refuge. The text, taken from Psalm 18, proclaims "I will love you, O Lord, my strength... the Lord is my firmament and my refuge, and my deliverer; my God is my helper, and in him will I trust." The SATB choir conveys this message of steadfast faith, with the composer Alexei Lvov setting the Latin text in a rich, devotional manner. This sacred work offers a powerful expression of spiritual reliance and praise, making it a compelling choice for liturgical settings or concert programming where the strength of faith is explored.
