About Diffusa est gratia
This unison chant, Diffusa est gratia, is a sacred offering hymn sung in Latin. Its character is that of pure, unadorned chant, with the melodic line carrying the text without harmonic support. The Latin text expresses a profound blessing, stating that grace has been poured upon the lips of the one blessed, and therefore God has blessed them forever. This Offertory Hymn is set in the traditional Gregorian style, offering a moment of contemplative reflection for the choir and listeners alike.
