"Credo" is a majestic Latin setting of the Nicene Creed by the renowned Nigerian composer Jude Nnam. Written to carry the weight of the Church's ancient profession of faith, this piece is sung immediately after the homily on Sundays and major feast days. The music opens with a bold, unaccompanied male voice declaring "Credo in unum Deum" (I believe in one God), setting a reverent and unified tone before the full choir joins to proclaim God as the maker of heaven and earth.
