CREDO IN UNUM DEUM

Emma Atuanya’s setting of the "Credo in Unum Deum" takes the ancient, foundational words of the Nicene Creed and arranges them into a structured, five-verse choral piece. Singing the Creed in Latin connects a choir to centuries of Church tradition, and this arrangement makes that profound text accessible through clear solfa notation.

The piece opens with a polyphonic refrain declaring "Credo in unum Deum" (I believe in one God), setting a reverent and firm tone.
