Benedetto sei tu by Giovanni Animuccia — Lyrics
Benedetto sei tu,
dolce signor Giesu,
che quell' horrenda morte,
che gia temea si forte,
hor non la temo piu.
Io ti viddi l'altr'hieri,
fra quei tormenti fieri,
si lacero et concuiso,
restar nel legn'occiso,
c'huomo'à veder non eri.
