Beatus vir qui non abiit in consilio impiorum, et in via peccatorum non stetit, et in cathedra pestilentiae non sedit;
sed in lege Domini voluntas ejus, et in lege ejus meditabitur die ac nocte.

About Beatus vir a 6
Andrea Gabrieli was a leading figure in the Venetian school of composition. This motet, Beatus vir, is set for six voices (ATTBBB) and is sung in Latin. The text, taken from Psalm 1, describes the blessed man who delights in God's law, contrasting him with the wicked who will not stand in the judgment.
