About Ave Maria
A standard setting of the Ave Maria text, this piece is suitable for liturgical use, particularly during Marian feast days or services. The composer Valentin Judex crafts a moving SATB setting in Latin, drawing on the familiar words of the Angelic Salutation. The music reflects the devotional nature of the text, with the choir offering a prayerful contemplation of Mary's grace and blessedness. This antiphon can serve as a beautiful and accessible addition to sacred choral repertoire, offering a moment of reflection and reverence for both singers and listeners.
