WE CALL ON YOU, LORD

When it comes time for the Prayer of the Faithful, a choir needs a response that is both reverent and easy for the congregation to internalize. "We Call On You, Lord" provides exactly that. Arranged by Dr. Anaele Romanus F.C., this short intercessory piece takes the beloved, stirring melody of the South African hymn "Ndikhokhele Bawo" and adapts it beautifully for the Catholic liturgy.

The lyrics form a direct and earnest plea: "In our distress we call on You, Adonai, Our King."
