About Trinité B - Ps. et Acclamation
This setting of Psalm 33 offers a rich opportunity for liturgical music. Written for SATB choir, its French text celebrates God’s faithfulness and love, portraying Him as the source of justice and life. The music would serve admirably during the Ordinary of the Mass or for a service of Word and Table. It opens with the beatitude of the people whose God is the Lord and moves through reflections on God’s powerful creation and providential care. The text affirms confidence in God’s deliverance and the choir’s hope placed in Him, culminating in a joyful Alleluia. This piece encourages a congregational response, typical of responsorial psalmody, enhancing communal prayer.
