Full Lyrics
VERSE 1
When a sinner comes, as a sinner may, there is joy, there is joy;
When he turns to God in the gospel way, there is joy, there is joy.
CHORUS
There is joy among the angels
And their harps with music ring;
When a sinner comes repenting,
Bending low before our King.
VERSE 2
When a soul is born in the kingdom bright,
There is joy, there is joy;
When it walks by faith in the gospel light,
There is joy, there is joy.
VERSE 3
When a pilgrim comes to the river wide,
There is joy, there is joy;
When he dwells secure on the other side,
There is joy, there is joy.
