About Responsorium et Hymnus ad Vesperas Dominicae XXI post Trinitatis
This setting of a responsory and hymn for Vespers of the 21st Sunday after Trinity opens with a plea for divine attention to the suffering of your people, invoking God as the ruler of Israel who watches over his flock. The text asks God to open his eyes and see our tribulation, a prayer for solace and intervention. The accompanying hymn, O lux beata trinitas, addresses the Holy Trinity, asking for divine light to fill our hearts as the fiery sun departs.
