INSTRUMENT OF PEACE

"Instrument of Peace" is a gentle, reflective prayer-song inspired by the famous Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi. It asks God to transform the singers into channels of grace, replacing hatred with love and breaking down walls of pride and prejudice. The melody carries a quiet earnestness that draws the listener into a space of personal dedication.

In the choir loft, this piece is often sung during Communion, after the Prayer of the Faithful, or at moments of quiet reflection. Its simple, flowing lines allow the congregation to absorb the profound meaning of the words, making it a moving choice for Masses focused on reconciliation, unity, and healing.
