Into Your Sanctuary

"Into Your Sanctuary" is a welcoming entrance hymn that calls the congregation to worship and adoration. With its straightforward, uplifting refrain, the song sets a reverent tone for the beginning of Mass, inviting everyone to glorify God's holy name as they gather in His presence.

The verses express deep gratitude for the gift of life and the joy of being in God's house, drawing on the psalmist's declaration that one day in His courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. It concludes with a beautiful Trinitarian doxology, making it a fitting piece for choirs to lead as the clergy process to the altar.
