About Immittet Angelus
This SATB setting in Latin of the Offertory hymn Immittet Angelus paints a scene of divine protection and comfort. The text, drawn from Psalm 33, speaks of an angel surrounding those who fear the Lord and rescuing them. It continues with an invitation to taste and see that the Lord is good, suggesting a spiritual nourishment found in divine presence.
