All seated on the ground,
The angel of the Lord came down,
And glory shone around.

About Glad Tidings
Stephen Jenks's SATB anthem, Glad Tidings, sets the familiar words of the traditional Christmas carol. The text recounts the appearance of an angel to the shepherds tending their flocks, announcing the birth of a Saviour in Bethlehem. The music will reflect the awe and wonder of this divine revelation and the subsequent heavenly host singing of glory to God and peace on earth.
