Feliz Navida

When the Christmas season arrives, few songs bring as much instant joy to the church as "Feliz Navidad." This familiar, upbeat piece is a staple for end-of-year celebrations, carols, and festive gatherings. Its simple, repetitive structure makes it incredibly catchy, inviting everyone in the pews to smile and sway along with the choir.

In this four-part arrangement by Macdonald Nwadike, the classic melody gets a bright choral treatment. The sopranos carry the well-known tune, while the lower voices provide a rhythmic, bouncing foundation that drives the song forward. The mix of English and Spanish lyrics—wishing a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year from the bottom of the heart—carries a universal warmth that perfectly captures the spirit of the season. It is a wonderful, lighthearted addition to any choir's Christmas repertoire, guaranteed to leave the congregation in high spirits.
