ANYI EZUKOTALA

"Anyi Ezukotala" is a vibrant, joyful Entrance hymn that calls the congregation together in celebration. The title translates to "We have gathered," and the opening lines set a beautiful scene: God's children arriving at His palace to offer thanks for His goodness. It is a song of arrival and deep gratitude, perfect for opening a festive Mass.

The verses carry a deeply personal tone of thanksgiving. The singers offer the voices, health, and wealth God has given them back to Him in praise, singing that His gifts are sweeter than meat and oil. In the later verses, the choir brings the diverse needs of the people—"as our faces are different"—and places them in God's hands, asking Him to hear their voices and grant their petitions.
