About Dixit Dominus
Part of the Vespers service, Giovanni Legrenzi's Dixit Dominus is a powerful setting of Psalm 110. This setting for treble, bass, and two-part choir (STB) draws on the text's majestic pronouncements of God's power and the establishment of an everlasting priesthood.
