Dievmātes litānija (poļu melodija) (Litania do Najświętszej Maryi Panny)

This arrangement presents a traditional Polish melody for the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary, sung here in Latvian. As a sacred liturgical work, its text is a prayer invoking the Holy Trinity and calling upon the Blessed Virgin Mary with a series of revered titles. The structure follows the familiar pattern of Kyrie eleison, before moving through petitions to God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and then to Mary, Mother of God, Mother of the Church, and Queen of Heaven. The single-voice setting (S) makes this a straightforward yet deeply devotional piece, suitable for services where a clear and accessible vocal line is desired to convey the solemnity of the prayers.
