About Ce qui est plus
Pierre Sandrin's chanson Ce qui est plus celebrates honest acquaintance and true love. The text extols virtue and reason as the foundations for a lasting union between lovers, unfettered by vice. This STTB arrangement allows Sandrin's skill in setting elegant French poetry to music to shine through, creating a reflective and charming piece. Ideal for secular ensembles looking for Renaissance part-music with a gentle, philosophical bent.
