About Cantate Domino in B flat, Z 230/9
This setting of the Cantate Domino by Henry Purcell would be an excellent choice for an evening service, perhaps for Evensong or Compline. The Latin text, taken from Psalm 98, calls for joyful praise to God for his wondrous deeds and salvation.
