laudibus cælum repleatque terram,
quos Dei nostros pietas tuentes

About Caelitum festum
This unison Gregorian chant in Latin celebrates a feast day in honour of the heavenly host. The text praises the angels, described as diligent ministers and powerful princes who triumphed over rebellious angels and now reside in eternal heavenly castles. It calls upon God the Father, through the intercession of these saints, to guide and increase the faithful.
