BLESS THIS HOUSE

"Bless This House" is a classic, beloved prayer of dedication. Choirs often sing it during the blessing of a new home, a church dedication, or as a gentle anthem asking for God's protection over the congregation. The lyrics walk through the physical parts of a house—the walls, roof, door, windows, and hearth—asking for peace and light, before turning inward to pray for the people who dwell inside.

This arrangement by Cosmos Adedero opens with a warm tenor solo that carries the initial verses, while the rest of the choir supports with a gentle hum. The voices eventually join together in a rich, a cappella plea for purity and grace. It brings a quiet, reverent atmosphere to the church, reminding everyone listening that a true home is built on God's presence.
