Alleluia. Justi autem

This setting of the Alleluia for SATB voices unfolds with a resonant fullness, the four parts moving with clear, independent lines. The Latin text, drawn from the Book of Wisdom, speaks of the eternal life and reward of the righteous with the Lord. The composer, whose identity is unknown, crafts a devotional atmosphere, ideal for liturgical settings within the Mass. The music reflects the solemnity and hope inherent in the text, with the voices combining to create a sound that is both powerful and serene. Its directness and clarity make it an effective choice for choirs seeking to convey the profound message of everlasting peace.
