ABO OTITO

"Abo Otito" is a vibrant Igbo thanksgiving and offertory hymn that captures the joy of bringing our gifts before the Lord. The song is built around a beautiful exchange: we approach God’s altar carrying our "baskets" (abọ) of praise and thanksgiving, and in return, we ask Him to hand us a basket of His blessings to carry home.

The verses are full of life and movement, calling the congregation to rise because the time has come to enter God's presence. It paints a picture of a festive procession, calling out traditional instruments—the ịgba (drum), ọja (flute), and une (musical bow)—to join the celebration.
