ABC - Sv. Václava, mučedníka by Karel Bříza — Lyrics
Odp.: Ty, Hospodine, vládneš nade vším.
Tvá je, Hospodine, velikost a moc,nádhera, lesk i vznešenost, neboť tobě patří všechno na nebi i na zemi.
Odp.
Tobě, Hospodine, přísluší kralovat,ty jsi svrchovaně povýšený nade vším,od tebe je bohatství a velebnost.

About ABC - Sv. Václava, mučedníka
This sacred responsory, set for two voices (soprano and tenor), uses Czech lyrics that praise God's supreme authority and dominion over all creation. The text speaks of God's greatness, power, and majesty, asserting His sovereignty and the wealth and glory that come from Him. The music reflects the grandeur of the text, with the two vocal lines likely intertwining to create a sense of solemnity and awe appropriate for a responsory. It is a profound reflection on divine power and unending rule, suitable for liturgical settings or choral concerts seeking a work of deep spiritual significance.
